The INN3165C-H113 is a high-performance offline flyback switching power supply IC in Power Integrations’ InnoSwitch™3-CE series, designed specifically for high-efficiency, compact power adapters and chargers.

The InnoSwitch3-CE series employs a multi-mode quasi-resonant (QR)/continuous conduction mode (CCM) flyback controller, delivering up to 94% efficiency across the full load range and less than 30mW of no-load power consumption (including line sensing), easily meeting global energy efficiency regulations. The INN3165C-H113 delivers 25W of continuous output power and 30W of peak power across the full input voltage range, making it suitable for 25W–30W power solutions such as mobile phone chargers, tablet adapters, and auxiliary power supplies for home appliances.

This chip highly integrates a primary-side high-voltage power MOSFET, a secondary-side synchronous rectification controller, and innovative FluxLink™ safety-isolated feedback technology into a single package, significantly simplifying the design and manufacturing of flyback power converters.

Ultra-high integration, simplified design: A single chip integrates the flyback controller, 650V MOSFET, secondary sensing, and SR driver, eliminating the need for additional optocouplers, significantly reducing the number of BOM components, and shortening the R&D cycle.

FluxLink™ isolated feedback: Replaces traditional optocouplers with magnetic coupling communication to achieve HIPOT-rated isolation, offering high feedback accuracy and long lifespan, thereby enhancing system reliability and electromagnetic compatibility.

High Efficiency and Energy Savings, No Heat Sink Required: Quasi-resonant switching technology reduces switching losses, achieving up to 94% efficiency at full load. The 25W output operates without a heat sink in an open-frame design, making it suitable for compact power supplies.

Precise CV/CC Control: Excellent constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) accuracy with programmable output current, suitable for applications with stringent output stability requirements, such as chargers and adapters.

Comprehensive protection mechanisms: Built-in protection against input/output overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, and secondary-side SR MOSFET short circuits ensures all-around system safety.
