The AM2611 is a high-performance real-time MCU in TI’s Sitara™ AM26x series, based on the Arm® Cortex®-R5F processor core. The AM261x devices feature scalable Arm Cortex-R5F performance and a rich set of peripherals, making them widely applicable to a variety of applications, whilst providing security features and optimised peripherals for real-time control.

Processor: Single-core or dual-core Arm® Cortex®-R5F, with a maximum clock speed of 500 MHz
On-chip memory: 1.5 MB shared SRAM (with ECC error correction)
Industrial communication: Integrated PRU-ICSS (Programmable Real-Time Unit Subsystem), supporting protocols such as EtherCAT and PROFINET
Security features: Supports lockstep operation, hardware security acceleration, AES/SHA/TRNG, etc.
