Key features: The entire range complies with the AEC-Q100 Grade 1 standard, with an operating temperature range of –40°C to +125°C, operating voltage range of 4.5 V to 35 V (absolute maximum 40 V), integrated current sensing eliminating the need for external shunt resistors, support for PWM or PH/EN modes, PWM frequency up to 25 kHz, and three interface variants: HW (hardwired), SPI (S) and SPI (P). Sleep current as low as 1 μA (typical at 25 °C), meeting the stringent requirements of automotive electronics for low quiescent current.

3. DRV8874 – H-bridge driver with integrated current sensing and regulation

The DRV8874 is an automotive-grade integrated motor driver featuring an N-channel H-bridge, charge pump, integrated current sensing and proportional output, current regulation and protection circuits. It complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and is housed in a PowerTSSOP-16 package, with high-side and low-side on-resistances of 200 mΩ and a maximum output current of 6 A. Mingjiada recycles this model and related evaluation modules.


4. DRV8262 – 60V High-Power Single-Channel/Dual-Channel H-Bridge Driver

The DRV8262 supports an operating voltage range of 4.5V to 60V and is specifically designed for 24V and 48V automotive applications. It can drive a single brushed DC motor, a single stepper motor or two thermoelectric coolers (TECs). RDS(ON) is 100 mΩ in dual H-bridge mode and 50 mΩ in single H-bridge mode; the peak output current is 8 A in dual H-bridge mode and 16 A in single H-bridge mode, with integrated high-side MOSFET current sensing offering an accuracy of ±4 per cent.


5. DRV8848 – Dual H-Bridge Driver

The DRV8848 is a dual H-bridge stepper driver supporting high-resolution control and suitable for multi-axis motion systems; Mingjiada recycles this model.


II. Typical Application Scenarios for TI Automotive-Grade H-Bridge Drivers

TI automotive-grade H-bridge drivers are widely used in the following automotive electronic systems; all stock components used in these scenarios fall within Mingjiada’s recycling scope:

Body Control Module (BCM): This includes hidden door handles, power-folding wing mirrors, door locking systems and electric window regulators, and represents the most core application scenario for H-bridge drivers. The DRV824x series can directly drive brushed DC motors in door modules; its integrated current sensing and load diagnostics functions enable real-time monitoring of motor status, whilst the 1 μA sleep current helps to control the vehicle’s standby current.
